Gear Drive. The biggest bolt-in cam for huge horsepower & torque gains. S&S measured on the dyno: 2023 Low Rider ST with HPT496 camshaft; Stealth air cleaner; Super Street exhaust; max HP 120.73 @ 5770 RPM & max 127.04 torque @ 3230 RPM. 2023 Low Rider ST All Stock: Max HP 91.2 @ 4680 RPM & max Torque 119.2 @ 2960 RPM. Compatible with all stock components but requires free-breathing air filter & exhaust mufflers. With each cam change S&S recommends their 583903 Precision tappet assembly set. This camshaft & gear kit includes camshaft; drive gear and driven gear on camshaft. Includes all required bearings; O-rings and hardware. Gear drive cams provide improved valve timing accuracy and more mechanical sound; when compared to chain driven cams. Note: For best performance it is; like with all performance cams; recommended to use a free breathing air cleaner and exhaust system.
