Cometic''s AFM (Aluminum Foamet Material) gaskets are made with an aluminum core with a chemically blown; compounded nitrile synthetic thin foam-like rubber layer bonded to both sides. Temperature resistance of over 250°F (122°C). AFM rubber has a 85% recovery while maintaining strong torque retention. Re-torqueing; gasket sealers or silicone beads are not required. Note: will not fit 1999 Touring with Magneti-Marelli fuel injection.
