.032" thick AFM (Aluminum Foamet Material). Used between bearing housing and transmission case. OEM replacement reference 35654-06; 35654-06A. Cometic''s AFM gaskets are made with an aluminum core with a chemically blown; compounded nitrile synthetic thin foam-like rubber layer bonded to both sides. Temperature resistant to over 250°F (122°C). AFM rubber has a 85% recovery while maintaining strong torque retention. Re-torquing; gasket sealers or silicone beads are not required.
