Especially designed to reduce cavitation (foaming). When suspension is worked hard foaming can become a thing. Foaming induces air\/gasses in the fluid which is compressible. Since foaming reduces damping capacity; a cavitation resistant damping fluid is important to keep the damping system working correctly.
